Kim Sawol is a singer-songwriter who has been active in the South Korea indie scene since 2012.
The music of Kim Sawol, in which the desperation of the lyrics is carefully woven into the transparent tone, contains the folk concept and the dreamy depression that reminds me of 1970s and 80s.
Kim's solo album and her first full-length album, "Suzanne" was designed to portray the time she had faced in her life as a person named Suzanne.
This album won the Best Korean Folk Music Award of the 13th Korea Popular Music Awards in 2016.
